STACCATO

There are two other acts on the bill and when we show up we are completely geared, but that's because I have been doing this for a few years... and the other bands were a bit off on the gear they brought... which is fine but still, if you are going to do this you need to make it right and the thing about that is that good gear helps the whole show... always.

Anyway, my usual show is me, four guitars, a few amps and when dave comes we have a full percussion set next to me - dave and I play off each other a lot, but since this is a solo series of shows, it's just me in the center of the stage, eye-to-eye with the monitors...

MIDNIGHT DRIVIN'

The stage is really small, you face down the bar and it's cool when you have a good crowd.... and it is a very young bar which means a lot of college kids and a smattering of serious music lovers who appreciate the acoustic quality when it comes... which isn't too often, apparently.

It's too bad the house sound system is dead... nobody can figue out why but after an hour of doind jams that come thru the amp, the owner finally shows and with a touch of a button fixes the PA so I get a few good songs in before the set is over.

I was looking forward to this show so it's a bit of a drag that the PA went out but hey... what are ya gonna do?
